A woman named Laila D’Souza an owner of an animal rescue in Kuwait called Winston Memorial Foundation was on her way home but she suddenly took the wrong turn on the highway and noticed a poor kitten in the middle of the road. The kitten stopped at the emergency lane so Laila quickly pulled over and went outside her car to check the little kitten.
“He somehow dodges all the cars and was running for his life even though he was exhausted,” Laila said
When Laila tried to pick up the kitten it quickly run under her car and hide. Thankfully, there was a man who stopped in front of her because the man saw Laila struggling to find the kitten but they still can’t find the kitten. Laila thought that the cat really run away from her but after two hours, she heard a burst of crying coming from her car.
“To my surprise, he had held onto my car from underneath. Because I had a hard time locating him, I called a road aid seeker and they helped get him out,” Laila said.
After the kitten finally came out under Laila’s car, she quickly brought it to the vet to make sure that the kitten wasn’t hu.r.t. Laila named him Hitch and he was estimated to be 5-6 weeks old. They gave him a comfortable bed and lots of good food that’s why Hitch began to feel relaxed and the fear in his eyes was gone.
After Hitch receives TLC, he slowly started to trust people and after a few days, the fearful Hitch turned into an attention seeker, his confidence was so high and he became very affectionate and talkative.
Hitch’s personality was so nice, once he was ready to socialize with other kittens, he will take them like they have known each other for a long time. And when he was big enough for adoption, he will travel across the ocean to a cat rescue in Washington DC, City kitties DC, to find a place. There he met lots of people and fur friends and he showed them lots of love and affection.
Finally, Hitch found a new loving family together with a feline sibling to spend his life with. Laila was so happy having him and giving him a new life that he really deserves.
