This cat named Valentino doesn’t want anything but to have someone that will love him. But his looks and condition are wor.s.t and no one wants to be with him.
Valentino’s fur was riddled with gri.m.e. His eyes were ṣwollen and ṣealed. He also suffered from ṣarcoptic mange, it’s a condition that is highly cont.agious to both cats and humans.
Elaine Seamans just passed by Valentino’s cage at Baldwin Park Animal Shelter and heard the cat crying for help, she already knew what to do.
“He reached out with his little paw and made the tiniest meow It was like he was screaming without verbalizing it: ‘Please help me’… There are times when it’s not an option to keep walking, you just have to stop. This was one of those times.” Elaine said.
She touches the poor cat directly to her heart without wearing gloves despite the cat’s condition.
“When I picked him up, he put his little head on my shoulder, that was it. I had to get him out.” Elaine added.
They contacted Toby Wisneski from Leave No Paws Behind, who will take the kitty to the vet clinic where he can get the medical care he needed.
“When I was talking to Elaine on the phone and she let me hear his little meow, I said, ‘That’s it, II could hear him. That sealed the deal. “Toby said.
They are hoping that they will make Valentino better again and are ready for adoption soon and find a lovely home that he deserves.
The cat’s disease is good, and the staff of the clinic believes that he has a long life ahead of him.
“He’s so loving, You can tell he is very grateful. He will purr for them and try to rub up against the vet staff. He knows he is safe.” Toby said.
When Valentino finally opens his eyes, it’s a new greatest life for him. Thanks to those people who love him and never give up on him. Valentino is surely happy right now because he was surrounded by good people.
Hoping for Valentino’s continued recovery and soon he will find a forever home that will accept him no matter what.
