One day while going to work, Yvonne met a stray cat who was pregnant. The cat appeared to be friendly, she was sitting outside the office building Holmes&Marchant Shanghai meowing at all the people who walked by and would rub her face on anyone who gave her attention. She looked young and was happy to get some attention. Maybe she was looking to get some help.
Luckily, the office Holmes&Marchant Shanghai had a bunch of cat ladies who would love to help the pregnant kitty, and Yvonne is one of them.
Yvonne decided to take the kitty inside with her. She was sure that all of her workmates would be willing to look after this young soon-to-be mother and help her get ready for the big day.
The ladies at the office decided to call her Boba, this was because her belly was so round. They prepared for Boba a litter box, cushy bedding, and all the food (dry, canned tuna, fresh fish, milk) she could want in a spare meeting room.
While waiting to give birth to her kittens, Boba was very friendly to everyone in the office. The cat was happy that she had a safe place to give birth to her babies.
A few nights later there was a big storm and when everyone arrived in the office the next day Boba had given birth to eight little adorable kittens.
Boba was exhausted but fed and cleaned her babies: four boys and four girls! Boba shows herself to be a great and responsible mother cat despite her age.
At first, it was difficult to tell the kittens apart. Among the two kittens, one was calico, two were gingers and five were tabbies.
Two weeks passed and the little kittens began to open their eyes. After a months, the kittens were shifted to a bigger room. Now, they have an entire meeting room to themselves. They get everyone’s love in the office. The kittens and Boba were completely safe under the protection of the cat ladies in the office.
