We often think that only dogs have a special ability to smell, but this cat named Tom helped to have a different perspective.
Cats not only have keen senses that aid them in hunting, but they can also feel things that can’t be noticed by humans.
One of such things saved Sue’s life!
When her beloved 24-year-old cat Tomchanged his behavior from aloof to constantly tapping the back of her neck and meowing, Sue felt annoyed at first.
However, as Tom kept being persistent, Sue decided to trust him, so she made a doctor’s appointment and get her neck checked.
After a medical appointment, the elderly woman was given the most shocking results!. The doctors soon discovered that she had a cancerous lump under her skin called Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. And fortunately she found out early.
When Sue started to get treatment for her cancer, it seems like Tom felt some sort of relief too so he returned to his usual aloof self.
Thanks to her beloved senior cat, Sue received the treatment she needed in the nick of time and was later declared cancer-free.
