Molly is a 14-year-old Himalayan cat who has been brought to the shelter after her previous owners can’t take care of her anymore because of health problems.
The fluffy cat was so affectionate and sweet to its previous owners, she was the only pet at the house and her previous owner was the only human she knows.
Animal Rescue League of Boston took her and they are hoping that Molly can find a new home where she can spend her golden years. The shelter found out that Molly has some health iṣṣues like UTI or urinary tract iռfectiᴏn and a sign of kidռey diṣease.
When she arrived at the shelter, she always sat down on the shelf hoping for someone who noticed her and adopt her. After two months of sitting and patiently waiting, someone came to the shelter to meet Molly.
“I found Miss Molly on Petfinder after months of searching for the right cat. I knew I wanted a senior cat because I wanted to make sure an older cat wasn’t left in a shelter for the last few years of their life,” Olivia C. said
When Molly saw Olivia, she quickly climbed down on the shelf just to greet the woman. Molly looks like begging for the woman to adopt her by rubbing her face against Olivia.
“I loved how friendly and outgoing she was, and of course, I couldn’t say no to her face. I knew right away that I needed to bring her home, despite her medical issues,” Olivia explained
Finally, Molly found a new forever home where she can spend her golden years. The cat was so grateful to her new loving human for accepting her despite being old and sic.k.
According to Olivia, when they arrived home, Molly quickly went to Olivia’s bed and made herself comfortable in her new home.
“She has quickly settled into my home and has slept with me essentially since she came home with me, Molly enjoys throwing hair ties in the air and pouncing on them. She is very playful despite her age and loves to run around chasing the laser pointer.” Olivia said
Molly changed Olivia’s life. They became so happy together, and every time Olivia will come home there was Molly greeted her happily and was excited to see her again.
Molly looks so happy with Olivia, the two also became inseparable! Hoping for their happier memories together!
